The newspaper article below mentions that he was going to be the head of the new music school, Malmö musikkonservatorium, Sweden in the autumn of 1907.
"Malmö musikkonservatorium startas till hösten af musikdirektör Giovanni Tronchi och Johannes Elmblad, som nu bor i Leipzig men ska flytta till Malmö.
