• From the Trotter and Garrison book by Nona Green and Elbert Dickey. Thomas "Archibald" Trotter was the son of William and Sarah (King) Trotter. He was born in NC, and served in the Blackhawk war under Capt Biggerstaff. 3rd Regt 1 Brigade. He was married three times . first to Rhoda, second to Mary Cambell in 1833 in Hamilton Co, third to Harriet Crisel in 1849 in Hamilton Co. It is thought he had 14 children total.
