DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:
These Truesdale lines all spelt with several syllables have caused years of researching and caused many brick walls and confusion. This John Trousdale born in Boston Lincolnshire England will have to be a descendant from the Progenitor in my opinion with the William Truesdale-314 also born in Boston Lincolnshire in 1601 Please See his profile:
Trousdale-28 and Trousdale-5 appear to represent the same person because: Same year and place of birth, both have son named John w/ approximate same date of death and place.
Trousdale-60 and Trousdale-28 appear to represent the same person because: It seems that these two profiles should be merged. Trousdale-28 is John Trousdale, Sr (Northern Ireland, ca. 1704-1779) matches with Trousdale-60 (which has much less information). The "Trousdale Genealogy" book contains info on this person, and other documents (marriage, probate, etc.) support it.
