Genealogical Interests
Ancestry Tree not Source Documented although my Direct Ancestral Stone Line up to Micajah Stone 1828-1910 is based on personal research, with many Records and Documents proving my Direct Line to me. I just seldom took time to record sources. NOT a diligent Genealogist!
Since Stone is my Maternal Line, my Y-DNA was not useful. I recruited James Stone whom I found as a distant cousin, and a Direct Line to my GG Grandfather, Micajah Stone, I asked him to do Y-DNA test for me. He posted that on FTDNA. Account No. 953243.

Family Tree of Tom Troutwine
Biography
73 year old male retired from Medicine, Military and Postal Service occupations.
My mother's name is Lena Virginia (Stone) Troutwine , born in Perry Township, Gallia County, Ohio on 3 May 1928[1]. (card from funeral announcement states she was born in Mud Sock, Ohio) She died 12 July 2004 in Hollow Rock, Tennessee. Her father's name (my Grandfather) was James Robert Stone, James Robert was married to (my Grandmother) Minnie M. (Mae) Allbright.
My father listed in WikiTree is Bruce Allwyn Wallace ,my BIOLOGICAL father, discovered through Autosomal and Y-DNA testing within the past 10 years, well past the deaths of those involved (except me!). This was after years of tracing my Troutwine family back to Germany.
My apologies to any members of the Wallace family who do not want to believe I am the biological son of Bruce A. Wallace. I welcome their DNA testing results that disprove / prove my assumption.

Since you have started following a DNA tag, you may be interested in how you can use DNA test matches with your relatives to strengthen your genealogy on WikiTree. You will find the answers in the Help pages, of which the DNA Help category page shows all the DNA help that is available, and the How to Get Started with DNA page is highlighted. Also the DNA Features page can show you various ways that DNA tests can work with your genealogy. For a detailed guide to connecting DNA test results to WikiTree profiles via GEDmatch, look here.
You may see some relatives show up in your list of "DNA Connections" on your profile if they have added a DNA test to their profile. These DNA Connections are possible DNA test matches, they are not sufficient for marking parental relationships as "confirmed with DNA" without providing a DNA Confirmation source citation providing details of an acceptable DNA match. You may find that you have acceptable matches with some of them. There is more information about DNA Connections on the DNA Test Connections page.
When you are ready to start documenting that your genealogy sources are confirmed by DNA test matches, be sure to follow the guidance at the Confirmed with DNA help page. Also, I strongly recommend using the DNA Confirmation Citation Maker WikiTree app for creating and/or validating your DNA confirmation source citations. Note that a profile should not be marked "confirmed with DNA" without source citations for both genealogy and relevant DNA test matches.
If you have questions or need assistance, feel free to ask on the G2G Forum using the Tag "DNA" and/or "DNA_Confirmation".
Please sign our Honor Code, and happy WikiTree-ing!
