MEMORIAL PHOTOS 1 FLOWERS 2 Mrs. Helena B. Gehres, died Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from a complication of diseases at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alfred Remaly, near Heath. The deceased was born in Pennsylvania, July 27, 1831. Her husband died June 5, 1874. Most of her married life was spent in Carroll county in the vicinity of Owasco. The deceased was a member of the Lutheran church at St. John, Ind. She was a woman of splendid character and possessed the esteem of all who knew her. The following children survive: Joseph and Francis Gehres, who reside in North Dakota; William Gehres,of Lafayette; Mrs. Amanda Remaley, of Heath; Milton Gehres,of Wisconsin; Mrs. Eliza Jones, of Washington; Mrs. Maggie Whitsell, of Washington; Alvin Gehres, of Mulberry and Charles Gehres, of Washington.

Burial: Saint Johns Cemetery, Owasco, Carroll, Indiana, United States
