Carl was born in 1917. He was the son of Edgar Truax and Ruth Olmstead.
He married Norma Tilden and they had two children, Mary and Thomas
He died in 1994 and is buried in the Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, Oswego County, New York near his wife and other relatives.[1]
Carl D. Truax, 77, of Wilobob Terrace died Monday at his home. A native of Parish, Mr. Truax lived in Fulton since 1942. He was the owner for 20 years of Carl D. Truax Inc., an electronics and mechanical component firm in Fulton, and previously was employed with General Electric Co. He also was co-founder of B&T Sport Shop in Fulton. Mr. Truax was a 1941 graduate of Syracuse University, where he was a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity. Mr. Truax was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Fulton and the Fulton Rotary Club. He was a member of the Fulton Historical Society. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, the former Norma Tilden; a son. Thomas T. of Acton, Mass.; a daughter. Katherine Truax-Cook of Rochester; a sister, Arlene T. Bock of Fulton; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 29 in Asbury First United Methodist Church. Rochester. Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery. Fulton.[2]
