Biography
Jesse was born in 1871.
Aged 22 years in 1894, she married Leslie Earl Rodee. Together they raised five children.
In 1908 the family traveled to an extended family reunion in South Dakota.
Although the Spanish Flu Pandemic occurred a few years earlier, it possible that it did not reach the Canton farm until 1922. Several members of the family became ill and Jessie cared for them. Aged 51 years, she passed away from complications of the flu in February 1922.
She left behind her Husband and the following Children:
Harold Hiram aged nearly 26
Bernard aged 24
Grace aged nearly 19
and the twins Elwyn and Evelyn aged 16.
