Biography

OBITUARY: Michael Trujillo “Mike T,” age 29, a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed to his eternal life on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Michael was known for his big heart, generous spirit, amazing smile, being everyone’s best friend, and having an energy that drew people to him.

Michael loved baseball, weightlifting, hunting, and fishing. He had a determination and drive to succeed in everything he did; he served in the Army Reserves for eight years, was a corrections officer for five years, a real estate agent, and was currently working in security.

Michael will be remembered by his smile, kindness, love, joy, living life to the fullest, his passion for our Lord, and cherishing his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his father, Andy Trujillo; his mother, Viola Trujillo; his sister, Marissa Trujillo, brother-in-law, James McGough-Maduena; grandparents, Marina and Juan Trujillo, and Candie Herrera. Michael is preceded in death by his grandfather, Delfin Herrera. He also leaves his cherished uncles, Ruben Herrera, Lorenz Herrera, and John Trujillo; aunts, Debbie Loomis, and Anna Trujillo; cousins, Jared Loomis, Kristen Santistevan, Amber Loomis, Alicia Herrera, Angelina Wolfel, Anthony Herrera, Andrea Trujillo, Nicolas Trujillo, and Brianna Salas; and godparents, Debbie and Tom Loomis. Also touching Michael’s life were many cousins, relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Adam Moya, Jeremy Cordova, Andre Montoya, Jared Loomis, James McGough-Maduena, Matt Lee, Ruben Herrera, Lorenz Herrera, John Trujillo, Mariano Trujillo, and Estevan Trujillo.

A Visitation and Rosary will be held at a later date at FRENCH – Wyoming upon removal of COVID restrictions. A Funeral Mass and Interment will be held in La Madera, NM. Because of the pandemic, dates are to be determined.
