Frederick Truman (1887 - 1949)

Biography

Frederick was born in 1887^[1] in Sedgley, Staffordshire, England, where he lived with his parents, Daniel Truman and Sarah Smith.^[2] By 1901 Frederick worked as a pot moulder.^[3] In 1911 the Trumans lived in Coseley, Staffordshire, and Frederick was employed as a gas engine driver at a blast furnace.^[4]

Frederick married Phoebe Ellen Cox in 1918.^[5] In 1939 the Trumans lived on Church Street in Coseley, in the same building as Phoebe's mother and uncle.^[6]

Frederick died in 1949 at the age of 62.^[7][8]
