Biography

Enoch was born in 1848 the son of Daniel Tryon and Almeda Wait and was baptized on 11 Aug 1853 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co., Quebec^[1] together with his brother Hiram Herbert and sister Mary Almirah.

He married Alice Josephine Tryon, daughter of Ephraim Briggs Tryon and Matilda Jane Wait, on 16 Jan 1877 at Glines Corners, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Stanstead Methodist Church.^[2] He married Eliza J. (--?--) after 1926. Eliza was born in Vermont about 1861. Her previous married name may have been Jenness.
