Biography

Selina was born in 1838. She is the daughter of Joseph Tryon and Lucetta Boardman.

Research question

Could she be the Selina Stroud, wife of Charles B. Stroud, born 1838 died 1874, buried in Indian Hill Cemetery in Middletown, next to her husband Charles (born 1834, died 1859)?[1] Find a Grave has the Selina who was the wife of Charles with a maiden name of Ashton.[2]

If this is the same woman, perhaps there was an additional marriage (Ashton)? No information on the grave marker confirms the surname Ashton, middle initial given as E.
