Emily was the fourth child, second daughter, of Jedediah Tryon and Wealthy Williams.
In 1860 she is living in Norwich, New London, in a household of many names and occupations. Her occupation listed as Lady. In 1870 she lives with her mother and three brothers.
There is no evidence of the Brockway she married but an undocumented tree names him Cyrus Brockway. Cyrus is also found in a boarding house in Norwich, New London, three pages before we find Emily.
She died in 1883 in Old Saybrook and is buried there with other Tryon relatives.[1]
