George was born 15 Aug 1830, son of George Charles Tryon and Peachey Chambers, and was baptized as George Tryon Chambers on 8 Sep 1830 in Trinity Church, Marylebone, London [1]. His mother in the record was Peachey Chambers, a single woman. In 1842 Peachey Chambers married George Charles Tryon who died shortly after. Based on his will, it appears Peachey had been George's long time mistress who had his three children (see George's profile for more details).
In the 1841 census he is 11 and living with Peachey 40, and siblings Clara, 14, and Charley, 5. All have surname Tryon.
Note that Brighthelmstone is currently Brighton.
