Biography

Esther was the daughter of Rowland Tryon and his second wife, Susanna Everett.

Esther Tryon and Lewis Scofield declared their intention to marry on 30 Jul 1854 in Berrien County, Michigan.^[1][2] They married on 12 Sep 1854 in Berrien County.^[3] Children:

Ella M. Scofield b abt 1874 Mi, married Edgar W. Sprague 9 Oct 1895 MI

She lived her later years with her daughter Ella and Ella's family, and died aged 90 in Memphis, Tennessee.^[4][5] She was buried in Michigan.
