George's death certificate gives his father's name as Horace Tryon.[1]
He appears as a minor over the age of 14 years in proceedings appointing a guardian for him, William Anson, 1 Jul 1865.[2]
He died of paralysis in 1899, aged 52 years, 8 months and 2 days, divorced.[3] Calculating a birth date from death date and age gives a birth date of 12 Apr 1847. Mother's name noted as Emily (no surname). He had married at the age of 34 years, and had no children.
