George was born in 1871, his birth being registered at St. George Hanover Square, London in the 2nd quarter (Apr-May-Jun).[1]
He attended a boarding school in Chalfont St. Giles at the time of the census in 1881.[2]
He 'boarded' in St. James's Palace in 1891, listed as Army officer, 2nd Lieutenant Grenadier Guards.[3]
In 1901 he was a visitor, listed as a Captain in the Grenadier Guards, at Wilton House, District 3 Wilton, Wiltshire, England.[4]
In 1905 he married Averil Vivian, the daughter of Col. Henry Hussey Vivian, 1st baron Swansea and Averil Beaumont, the marriage being registered at St. George, Hanover Square, London in the first quarter (Jan-Feb-Mar) of 1905.[5]
He died in 1940[6] in Suningdale, Berkshire, the death being registered in Surrey Northwestern[7] and his estate was probated in Llandudno, Wales, on 12 August 1941, with his estate passing to his widow, the right honourable Averil baroness Tryon, to the right honourable George Vivian baron Tryon Major in His Majesty's Army and to Aylmer Douglas Tryon, estate agent.[8]
