Biography

Anna Mae (sometimes spelled May) was the daughter of Ira Tryon and Leona Pugh.

June Eleventh Announced for Tryon Wedding
Miss Anna Mae Tryon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira D. Tryon of Baldwin township, who is engaged to Chauncey M. Kirk of Brownsville road, Carrick, has decided upon June eleventh as the date for her marriage, which will take place in Trinity Cathedral.
The Reverend N. R. High Moor, dean of Trinity Cathedral, will officiate, together with the bridegroom's uncle, Dr. Frederick Haworth of Trinity Church, Erie, Pa.
The bride-elect has chosen as her attendants Miss Claire Cryder, Miss Virginia Mecklem and the bridegroom's sister, Mrs. William J. Jones. Miss Tryon's sister, Mrs. Lee Schauer, will be matron of honor. Mrs. Francis McCann will play the wedding music.
Mr. Kirk, the son of Mrs. C. E. Kirk and the late Dr. Chauncey E. Kirk, will have his brother, Dr. Milo M. Kirk, as his best man. The bride-elect's brother, Irwin I. Tryon, Dr. Haworth Gollings and William J. Jones will be ushers.
The bride and bridegroom-elect were both graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and the bride is now a teacher in Brentwood High school.
After the ceremony they will make their home in Brentwood.[1]

She married Chauncey Morrill Kirk (b abt 1909 son of Chauncey E. Kirk and Margaret C. Haworth) on 11 June 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.[2]

She died in Pittsburgh in 2002.[3]
