Thomas died of acute nephritis, complicated by multiple sclerosis, in 1929.[2]
Research Note
Thomas's birth year variously appears as 1859 or 1869, though the month, September, is agreed. (Date is 11 Sep or 19 Sep.) Either year conflicts with the birth of a sibling, but age of 10 in 1870 census suggests he was born about 1859/60.
