He married 1) Unknown Hicks on 28 Nov 1929.[2] She only lived for a short time.[3]
He married 2) Racheal Delores Echols. [4] Together they became the parents of George Anthony Tryon, McKinley C. Tryon Jr., Quessie Tryon-Williams, Rebecca Tryon, Laura Alice Tryon, and Betty Joyce Tryon.
He served in the US Army from 1 Sep 1942 to 18 May 1943[5] when he retired as a Corporal
He died on 14 Feb 1973[6] in Palestine, Anderson, Texas of an acute coronary occlusion. Informant on death certificate Rachel Tryon.[7] and was buried at Shiloh Cemetery in Leon Co., Texas. The death certificate has a birth date of 11 Oct 1903, but his Find a Grave memorial says 11 Oct 1902, as does the BIRLS record. His memorial states he was a corporal.
