Phillippa was born about 1675 (just a guess). She married William Stephens 10 Oct 1697 in Cirencester, England [1]. She died in 1751 [2].
She is almost certainly the daughter of John Tryon. The reasoning is that In the will of Thomas Tryon, brother of John Tryon, he makes a bequest to "kinsman John Tryon" and "his sister Phillis". It is thought he is speaking of his nephew and niece. John's children who we have baptism records for were baptized in Poulton. Phillippa was married in Cirencester. These two villages and Bibury are all within 5 miles of each other.
