Sarah was born around 1802.

Research Notes

According to information posted on Family Search, Sarah (Tryon) Kinder Aka Carlisle died on July 2, 1851. There is no documentary proof of this death date, but there is no evidence that she lived to the 1860 census with any remaining family members.

Sarah's maiden name of Tryon is inconclusive at this time, although, there is a marriage record for a Francis Marion Carlisle that reports his mothers name as Sarah Tryon and Francis Marion is living in the 1850 census with Sarah Kinder, so it is concluded that Sarah Tryon was married to a Benjamin Carlisle and had children with him and then married David Kinder.

There is also a marriage record for a P.P. Carlisle, presumed to be Pleasant P Carlisle, that lists S A Carlisle, as Mother. Pleasant is also included on the 1850 census records.

There is confusion with these records because Pleasant and Francis are listed with Step Fathers name of Kinder on the 1850 census records but the 1860 census record and gravestones clearly list them as Carlisle.

On a Find A Grave site, for another reported son, the mother is listed as Sarah Tyrone.
