Biography

Samuel Lebbeus Tubbs ... [1] Samuel was a Revolutionary soldier[2]. He also rescued his father from Forty Fort along the Wyoming Valley in Pennsylvania during a siege of that area prior to the Revolutionary War. He was part of a Connecticut company, as Connecticut and Pennsylvania both claimed that land. He later joined the Revolutionary Army and wintered at Valley Forge with Washington.[3]
