Biography

Caroline was born about 1840.

Caroline Tuck married Captain George Richard Easton, as his second wife, in 1860, likely very soon after the death of his first wife Margaret Fearns.

They had, at least, 8 children. They were:

Ann J., b. 1861,
George J., b. 1862. George J married Violet E. Williams in 1901.
Ellen Mary, b. 1864. Ellen Mary married John Thomas Burless in 1882
Elizabeth S., b. 1865. Elizabeth S. married George H. Sheppard in 1884.
Harriett, b. 1867,
Kate, b. 1869,
Henry W., b. 1872,
Edmund James, b. 1874.

Caroline died at Ballina on 15 Oct 1915 and is remembered at the Ballina Pioneer Cemetery although no recognisable stone was found during a visit in July 2014.
