James Tucker was born in about 1801 in Godalming. He was the son of Joseph and Mary Tucker. He was christened on 31 May 1801 at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Godalming.
James became a hairdresser.
James married Sarah. By 1861 they were living in Wharf Street, Godalming.
Sarah died on 20 Mar 1864, aged 59 (according to her gravestone) or 60 (according to the burial record), at their home in Wharf Street, Godalming. She was buried on 24 Mar 1864 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section.
James married Harriet.
James died in 1872, aged 71, at his home in Wharf St, Godalming. He was buried on 5 Aug 1872 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section, but not with Sarah.
Harriet died in 1891, aged 77, at her home in Wharf Street, Godalming. She was buried on 4 Nov 1891 with James.
