Tom was the Pilot for his Father-in-Law, his 2nd wife's Father's Private Plane. He was flying it back by himself over Kentucky when it went down under suspicious circumstances, with no survivors. His 2nd wife soon after remarried.
I met his 1st wife when she came to Vermont on a road trip with a girlfriend in 1977. They just stopped by on the spur of the moment unannounced while I was building our solar house on Newfane Hill, and I showed them around. She was beautiful, well-mannered with a southern charm, and very nice.
Tom had discovered later on that he had a teenage son by an old highschool girlfriend, and had a chance to get to know his son a little before he (Tom) died. The whole Tucker Family has accepted Tom's son into the family as a Tucker.
On his family's Ranch in Nacadoches, Texas, Tom built himself a Geodesic Dome to live in.
He is the son of Evans Tucker and MaryGene Procter. [1]
