Jane died on 27 December 1883, a few months after her husband. She was mentioned on a memorial in St. Kilda Cemetery, St Kilda, Port Phillip City, Victoria, Australia with an interment date of 28 December 1883.[3]
It appears that John Weeks Ball married Jane Tucker in 1853 but John's name was incorrectly recorded in the Index as Bell, and this was corrected to Ball in 1871.
[4]
It also seems that their daughter Mary Ball was born in 1869, rather than 1859 as shown previously on this profile.[5]
