Biography
Isabella was born in 1857 to John & Margaret (Campbell) Ashwell. Isabella married her widowed neighbor (who had one daughter) Daniel Ashwell in December 1876. They had six children: Elma Pearl -1877-1965 (William Carson), Daniel Lorne -1879-1914, Charles Oliver -1887-1914, (Sarah Robinson), Wanda Isabella 1890-1987 &, John Earl - 1893-1926. They lived on his farm west of Hyde Park on part of lot 30, Con 4 until 1979. After the birth of their first two children, they moved to London, to 548 Piccadilly Street where they operated a grocery store for many years.
