Biography

Rebecca Tupper was born 14 Oct 1724 in Sandwich, Barnstable County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1][2]

She was the daughter of Samuel Tupper and Rebecca Ellis.[1][2]

Rebekah married Elkanah Morton 12 Dec 1752 in Sandwich.[3]

They came to Cornwallis Township, Colony of Nova Scotia around 1761 where her husband received one and a half shares 21 Jul 1761 in the first land grant, amounting to 1,000 acres. He received another share 31 Dec 1764 in the second grant.[4]

Rebeka passed away 8 Mar 1778.
