Biography

John was born in 1859. He passed away in 1926. He was married by the famous American Baptist preacher A.J. Gordon at the Clarendon Street Church in Boston. Had brother Louis (two years younger) and sister Mary (eight years younger), both born in NH, and brother George, 16 years younger, according to 1870 and 1880 US Census.

  • According to 1860 US Census, enumerated on July 2, 1860, John B. Turcotte was 7 months old on that date. That would mean he was born in 1859 not 1858, as most of his other documents indicate. Unfortunately, Keene did not keep track of births in 1859, so no Town record.
