Biography

The following death and funeral notice are from a Fall River, Massachusetts newspaper. Date 2 February 1904, while the date of the death of Francois X Turgeon was 1 February 1904: "Francois Xavier Turgeon died at his home 1470 Pleasant street, yesterday. He leaves seven children, four sons and three daughters." "The funeral services of Francois X Turgeon took place this morning from his late residence on Pleasant street. Following the services at the house the remains were taken to the Notre Dame church where a high mass of the requiem for the repose of his soul was celebrated by Father Hereier.
