Mary W. Turnbull was born in Jan 1866 in New York. [1] She was an artist in 1892 living with her sisters. [2] She lived at 414 State Street, Brooklyn, Kings, New York with her sisters from before 1900 to at least 1930. [3]
Mary married her cousin, Thomas H. Carman on 21 Jan 1901 in Manhattan. [4] He was in printing in Brooklyn, and living with Mary's family. In 1910, she said she was the mother of 4 children, 1 living. [5] Her sisters continued to live with them in 1920 and 1930. [6][7] Thomas died in January 1934 and Mary in Sep 1938. Both were buried in the Turnbull family plot in Green-wood Cemetery, Brooklyn. [8]
