John Goldsack Turnbull (1847 - 1904)

Biography

John was born in 1847^[1] in Hull, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of John Turnbull and Sarah Goldsack. In 1851 he lived with his maternal aunt, Elizabeth Loughborough.^[2] John lived with his parents in 1871.^[3]

He married Catherine Ann Coggrave in Hull in 1873.^[4][5] The family lived in Hull, where John worked as an iron moulder.^[6][7] Catherine worked as a confectioner.^[8]

John died in 1904 at the age of 57.^[9]
