Biography

This profile is part of the Turner Name Study.

Elijah was born in 1858, found in the 1860 Alabama Census. He was the son of William Turner and Lucinda Haywood. [1] [2] He married twice, having children by both wives. ( Mary Ann Kyser and Deemie Wilson.) Mary Ann Kyser was the first wife, and their children were Minnie, Tishie, and Anderson Turner. He passed away in 1921 and is buried in the Carey Sp rings Cemetery located in Pontotoc County, Mississippi.
