Biography
Sarah Turner was born on June 13, 1723 in Newtown, Fairfield, Connecticut Colony, daughter of Jeremiah Turner (~1685–~1724).
Sarah married Oliver Fairchild (born on June 24, 1724 in Stratford, Fairfield; son of Lt. Samuel Fairchild and Dinah (Burwell) Fairchild). Their children were:
- Jesse Fairchild (1736–1813)
- Alpheus Fairchild (1750– )
- Amos Fairchild (1754–1785)
- Jesse Fairchild (1754–1813)
- Sueton Fairchild (~1755– )
Sarah died on June 5, 1811 in Ellenville, Ulster, New York, United States, aged 87. She was buried in Old Ellenville Cemetery, Ellenville, Ulster County, New York.[1]
