Mr. Organ's name was supposed to be Orgone, but spelling wasn't good back in those days, they spelled words different as they sounded. Organ told this information to me in a visit with him and his daughter, Uras Turner Gillespie, in the year 1993. My Father William T. "Billy" Turner and I visited with him for about 2 hours, and I made many notes from his information. He said that seven Turners married Tutors. He also told us about his life. He worked with his father when he was 18 years old on the Pontotoc County roads, as his father was a Pontotoc county Supervisor. Later years he farmed until he was about 50 years old and moved to St. Louis Missouri and worked in the factory there. He retired at age 62 and his daughter Uras, he and his wife moved back from Missouri to Pontotoc Co., MS, when he was 78 years old.
