Annie Lee (Turner) McCollum was born on 15 Jan 1880 in Starkville, Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, USA

On 15 Nov 1895 Annie married her first husband, J. O. "Jim" Thompson (1875 - 1914) in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, USA.^[1] The couple had at least seven children:

1. Clarence Thompson (1896 - 1943)
2. Talton Nelce Thompson (1898 - 1943)
3. Harry Thompson (1901 - 1955)
4. Raymond Ollie Thompson (1903 - 1979)
5. Gidd Braxton Thompson (1905 - 1970)
6. Harold Thompson (1907 - 1963)
7. Maybell Thompson (1813 - 1987)

In the 1900 census Annie (age 21) was the wife of J. Thompson (25) in Beat 2, Oktibbeha Count, Mississippi, USA. Also living with the couple were Jim's sister Jessie (20) and the couple's two oldest children Clarence (3) and Talton (2).^[2]

In the 1910 census Annie (age 30) was the wife of Jim O. Thompson (33). They were living in Hickory Grove, Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, USA. Other household members were Jim's sister Jessie (30); and children Clarence (13); Nelce (11); Harry (9); Olie (7); Gidd (5); and Harold (2).^[3]

Annie married Thomas Jefferson McCollum (1865 - 1942) about 1918 using the date of their daughter, Polly P. (McCollum) Staggs (1920s - 2000s).

In the 1930 census Anne (age 50), Farmer, was the wife of Tom J Mc Collum (66) living on Montgomery Road, Beat 2, Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, USA. The couple had a daughter of their own living in the home, Pauline (9). Other household members were Annie's children from her first marriage Gid B. (25); Maybelle (16); Harold (21); and daughter-in-law Cassie B. Thompson (20).^[4]

On 25 Nov 1944 Annie passed away in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, USA, aged 87.^[5] She was laid to rest in the Curtis Chapel Cemetery in Oktibbeha County.^[6]
