Edith Richmond was born to David Alonzo Turner and Ida Florence Burke in Barber, Sebastian, Arkansas on September 2, 1898 and died October 10, 1977 in Freer, Duvall, Texas. She married James Earl Richmond in Ft. Smith, Arkansas December 23, 1916. She and James Earl "Slats" had 6 children: Harry Davis, Winnifred, Mildren Louise, Robert Gene, Helen Ruth, and Frances Marie.
