It was Christmas day and I was 30 years old. My Mother asked me why I did not go by my name. "WHAT?? I go by my name daily." Then came the punch line......"I named you CaryAnn." No duh? Cary is my first name and Ann is my middle name or so I thought. Mom then tells me she named me CaryAnn, one word. I knew she always called me Cary Ann but I thought she was always mad at me. But no, she actually named me CaryAnn and always called me that. When I told my brother he thought like me that Ann was my middle name. What a shock. So look at your birth certificates because you may not be who you think you are.
Just some trivia about me

I do my best to make my tree is as correct as possible. But, as all genealogist know, mistakes happen. If you find any please let me know and provide the sources to show me where I went wrong.
I took the Ancestry DNA test and the results were a BIG surprise. It seems my 2nd GGM had three children with her married lover not whom we thought was our GGGF. Now I am on the hunt for this new family line.
Once I figure out how to use this site I will change this with information as Wiki Tree requests. Happy Hunting, C

Please don't use 'now of the USA' in location names after you've removed 'USA' for pre-1776 dates. Just remove the 'USA'. Thanks!
