In 1907, Turner & Son, decorators, tendered for work on the Mt Barker Baptist Church and work was completed by "Mr. W and Arthur Turner". 
In 1914 Arthur Turner was elected to the Mt Barker committee of the British and Foreign Bible Society and praised for his fundraising efforts. 
Partnered his brother Albert Leopold in an ironmongery business. Later lived in Adelaide. Uncle to Dudley Falcon Turner
Married 1912? Elsie Olive Wedd (Note 1.) at Mt Barker. She was 29 and he was 33.
Married 1924 Annie Vera Ellen Hoyes (Note 2.) when she was 21 and he was 45.
Note 1. Elsie Olive Turner's death registration has her husband's name as Arthur Ernest Turner. She was sborn 1883 to John WEDD and Elizabeth Annie SISSON District: Mount Barker Ref:298/125. She died 1966 in Adelaide. Note 2. Annie Vera Ellen Turner died 1938 and husband's name given as Arthur Edward Turner. The only way he could have married both these women is if he divorced Elsie Olive to marry Annie Vera. Annie was born 1901 to George HOYES and Josephine BURGOYNE District: Hindmarsh Ref: 673/146 Not Him!!!: —Turner & Son. 75, Franklin-st  This was a Frederick Turner, painter. Interestingly, 75 Franklin St was also the address of "Mrs Turner's Hospital" which advertised at the same time as follows: MRS. Turner's Hospital, 75, Franklin-street. Ladies accommodated during accouchement: private rooms, piano. Monthly nurse kept. (Also known as Nurse Turner's Maternity Home). She was Mrs F.Turner, midwife. Telephone 2,210. 75 Franklin St was also the home of Mr Edward Armand, who died there in 1910!
Children? No children listed for either on South Australian BDM, though I'm sure Arthur lived all his life in SA.
