Daniel William Turner married Jane Dudman in 1838 in London.[1] [2]

Immigration

TURNER Daniel William, Jane DUDMAN, and a daughter arrived in South Australia 1840-12-13 on the Brightman from London 40-08-15 via Plymouth, Cork.[3] They were some of the earliest colonists to arrive, the British Colony of South Australia having been formally proclaimed in 1836. Colonists at this time mostly came under the assisted passage scheme of the South Australian Company.
