Chd. Amelia Harriet b. 1865 (Perth), Walter de Grey Rockley b. 1866, Adelaide Frances Selina b. 1868, Frederick James b. 1868, Mary Ann? Frances Alexandra b. 1872 d. 1962, Florence Emmeline, Hotson bp. 1870, Sarah bp. 1872, Frank William George b. 1874. To Eastern colonies briefly in 1850s. Shipbuilder & sailing master of several. coastal vessels Flying Foam, after assisting father to build Alpha: explorer & surveyor a long North West Coast & inland from York, chiefly with F.Gregory 1861 & C. Hunt 1863- 66 (as 2nd in command). Had pearling interests. Family lived at Busselton, Perth & then Geraldton 1873- 1876, then at Fremantle. Went to Cossack where Turner established a shipwright business. Employed T/L men 1863-1873 including a sawyer. C/E. [1]
