Buford "Chuck " Turner died on Jan. 12, 2010, at the age of 77.
He was born on March 23, 1932, in Galveston, Texas, to parents Charles Edward Turner and mother Ella Lou Goss.
He served in the Army from 1950 to 1952, mainly in Korea, and was injured in the line of duty. He retired on disability after 15 years of meat cutting for Fred Meyer and Albertsons.
He enjoyed traveling in his RV with his wife Madeline, and when he was not hunting and fishing he was dreaming of hunting and fishing.
He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the Lutheran Church.
He is survived by: wife, Madeline; his six children, Larry, Robert, Mark and Don Turner, Rick Schneider and Diana Long; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Cooper; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
