Biography

Elizabeth Turner was the daughter of Joseph Turner (will proved April 7, 1737, Brunswick County, Virginia), son of John, who was granted land November 6, 1651, in Nausemond County, Virginia and whose will was recorded in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, March 25, 1705.

The Turners lived near Jack's Swamp along the Virginia- North Carolina line near members of the Jordan families.[1]

Marriage: 1742, Granville County, North Carolina.

Elizabeth's father Joseph Edward Turner and Elizabeth's mother Burchett Lundy.
