Biography

Caleb is named as a son of John Turner and Ann James.

This supposed son Caleb, as shown in A New Look at The Family of Francis and Philip James of Hingham: Immigrant Ancestors (NEHGR 151:71)^[1] appears to be an error in reading of the "Scituate, Mass. Second Church Records"^[2] where the baptisms of Jacob and David Turner are immediately followed by Caleb and Samuel Cushion.
