Mary Turner is a part of US Black heritage.
Mary Turner was most likely born before 1836 as she was married by 1852.[1] She was a slave of Dr. James Manning and lived in Marengo Co, AL. Mary Turner was listed on the probate inventory of James Manning in 1852.[2] It was stated that she was hired out to William M. Manning, who owns her husband.[1]
