Johannes (John) Turner Johannes (John) Turner was married to Anna Hanna (possibly Ann Brown). They had 5 children: Samuel Henry Turner, William (John Jr.) Turner, Catherine (Polly) Turner, Margaret Turner, Joseph Turner. John Turner was a revolutionary solider with the rank of Private. He served in the Sixth Battalion- Lt. Col. David Mitchel, Fifth Co. - Capt. William Strain, Cumberland Co. Militia 1778-1780. He enlisted in the Revolutionary War in York/Lancaster county. Some records have John listed as Johannes. Some say his wife's name was Ann Brown, others say it may have been Ann Hanna.

1787-1780 Age: 46 Military Revolutionary War Veteran John Turner was a revolutionary solider with the rank of Private. He served in the Sixth Battalion- Lt. Col. David Mitchel, Fifth Co. - Capt. William Strain, Cumberland Co. Militia 1787-1780. He enlisted in the Revolutionary War.
