Biography
When John Turner was born in 1833 in Sutton In Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, his father, James, was 24 and his mother, Hannah, was 22. He married Ann Elizabeth Saxton and they had nine children together. He also had four sons and three daughters with Sarah Turner, his second wife. He died in 1908 in his hometown, having lived a long life of 75 years.
