Biography

Ezekiel Turner was born 03 Jan 1701 (per online memorial site) at Scituate, Massachusetts, a son of Mary (Hyland; 1667-1729) and Amos Turner (bef.1671-1739).

He married first, in 1727, Bathshua Stockbridge (1706 - 1731).

Their children, as listed in their online memorial sites:
  1. Mary (Turner) Torrey (1729 - 1796); married William Torrey (1725-1768)
  2. Deborah (Turner) Chamberlain (1731 –); married Freedom (Chamberlin) Chamberlain Jr. (1730-1821)

Ezekiel Turner married second, in 1736, Ruth Randall (1719 - 1805).

The will of Ezekiel Turner of Hanover, Esquire, was dated 4 August 1773 and proved on 6 September 1773 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife Ruth (he bequeaths the continued enslavement of his enslaved black boy named London, who is about five years old), and his children, Amos Turner (executor), Mary Torrey, Deborah Chamberlain, Ruth Sylvester, Bathshua Hatch, Elizabeth Collemer, and Abigail Bailey, his deceased brother Seth Turner, and his granddaughter Bathshua Torrey..
