In 1938 Garnet was on the honour roll for 4th class at Katoomba School.[1]

In 1939 Garnet was on the honour roll for 5th class at Katoomba School.[2][3]

In 1940, Garnet (11) contributed to the war effort by melting down lead.[4]

Garnet married Frances Joyce Dixon in Orange, New South Wales during 1950.[5]

Garnet died in Narromine, New South Wales during 1983.[6]
