William Turner (age 73) died on 19 Oct 1921 in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee.[1] The cause of death was due to pellagra. William was born on 24 Apr 1848 in Tennessee; his parents were John Turner and Rebecca Petree (both from Tennessee). William was buried on 20 Oct 1921 in the Mount Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, Heiskell, Knox County, Tennessee.[9]

1880 - unable to find 1880 census record for William. There are some missing and intriguing years for William. His oldest daughter, Martha J. Turner, was born in 1871 and his next oldest child, Laura T. Turner, was born in 1890. In 1880, William's wife, Cynthia (Foster) Turner, and daughter, Martha, were both living with Cynthia's parents.
